I don't know what else to do. Please Help!!!

Dear Adey

I have 2 kids with my husband of 5 years. I am working two jobs to keep up with our living expenses. My husband lost his job over a year ago and it has been really difficult getting another one. I am trying to help him find a job. I don't know what else to do. I feel like a single mom.

Kelly

Hello Kelly

My heart goes out to you. i can't even imagine the stress you are dealing with. Taking care of 2 kids and shuffling between two jobs is a lot. You are definitely a super woman. keep doing what you are doing to keep your family together. This is what "for better for worse" means.

I know one year seems like a long time to be looking for work  but i suggest you put your husband in your daily prayers. He needs all the support he can get from you right now.

I will also suggest you refer him to staffing agencies who can help him look for a job rather than you do it. you have a lot on your plate right now and i don't think you need another responsibility.

Kelly i will like you to know that nothing is permanent and this phase that your husband is passing through will soon fade away. He had a Job before and he can always get another one again. In the mean time he can look for odds jobs to help him keep up with the cash flow.  Uber drivers make a decent amount of money and all he needs is probably a car which i bet he has. He can do that while he is on the look out for something better.

Be strong for yourself and your family.

I am very aware that the responsibilities are killing you and that is probably why you feel like a single mum but don't be afraid to ask for help. Ask him to help you take care of the kids if you need to quickly catch a nap.

Be open to your spouse about your feelings and i guarantee you will feel a lot better. Remember you are still the woman of the home and not the man so don't emotionally take up responsibilities that your husband could handle if you let him.

I believe everything willful into place in due time.

stay strong my dear and know i am also praying for you.

All the best Kelly.

PS if you happen to be in the united states, send me more information and i can try to connect you with a few organizations that might be able to help.

Regards

Adey
