Sometimes its so hard to believe that very famous and rich people once had nothing.Their lives look so good that many argue without facts and assume they were born with a silver spoon.
I was searching the internet and came across a few things about Oprah Winfrey and thought to share.
- Did you know that she spent the first six years of her life living with her grandmother wearing dresses made out of potato sacks?
- Did you also know she was molested by two members of her family and a family friend?
- Did you know that she ran away from home at the age of 13, had a baby at 14 and lost the baby shortly after he was born?
She had a terrible background and it seemed like everything worked against her until one day when things turned around. she got a full scholarship to college and that opportunity changed her life forever.
Life will always throw you lemons. It is what you do with the lemons that makes all the difference.
You can either let it shape you and make you a victim forever or you could use it as a stepping stone.
Success pays no attention to race, gender or location. It is readily available to all who work hard for it irrespective of your location.
I want you to believe that you too can be successful.
Work hard towards your goals and be consistent. There are no shortcuts. The race is not to the swift.
Do not use your neighbors success as your yardstick
Be patient and everything will wok together for your good
