What is Wealth?

Wealth is an abundance of valuable possessions.

While Wealth has always been mainly attributed to money and material possession, most of us are wealthy in one way or the other. You just have to figure out what valuable possession you have and how you can translate that to money.

For a lot of people that do not have a lot of money or material possession, Time is something they have. The problem with these group of people is what they do with it.  I am sure you have often heard that time is money, a much valuable possession that you can never get back when lost.

If you fall into this category, all you have to do is go look for someone with too many things to do but have no time and trade some of yours in exchange for money.  In simpler terms, go find work. Find a job that will pay you for your time.

In Texas for example,  the minimum wage a worker gets is $7.25 an hour.  so all a worker has to do is figure out how many hours he/she wants to work a day or a week and that translates to how much can be made within that time frame. If you decide to earn higher than minimum wage, then you have to get certain skills and look for people willing to pay you a certain amount for the skillset. For example, the average pay an IT consultant gets in Texas is $50 an hour, some get more. So if you want to earn higher, all you have to do is get skills in certain fields that have opportunities to earn higher.

Also, you could start a business if you have time on your hands. But before you do, get the necessary skills needed for the business and start small.  Search within you for the skillset that can be translated to money and horn those skills.

Search your day to day activities and find those things you do that waste your time. Delete or replace them with activities that can bring you more wealth.

Remember that for every hour wasted is a minimum of $7.25 gone.

You are already wealthy. You just need to figure it out.
